Should I choose sea or air freight?
As a rule of thumb, shipments above roughly 15 CBM with flexible timing go by sea, while restocks of 45 kg to a few CBM suit air freight. Small samples and single orders are best sent by express courier. If you are unsure, send us the cargo details and we will quote all three options side by side.
What does DDP (duties included) mean?
Under DDP we cover freight, China export clearance, US customs entry and duties, so the consignee pays nothing on delivery — convenient if they are unfamiliar with US import procedures. DDU is also available, where the consignee settles duties. Suitability depends on the product category and declared value, and we confirm this in the quotation.
Can you deliver to Amazon FBA warehouses?
Yes. We can label goods to Amazon requirements, book the delivery appointment (ISA) and deliver to the designated fulfilment centre. Each warehouse has its own appointment rules and peak-season waiting times can be long, so early notice of cargo readiness helps.
What goods can't you ship?
We refuse items prohibited by law, including narcotics, weapons and ammunition, counterfeit goods and anything infringing intellectual property. Battery products, liquids, powders, food, cosmetics and branded items are classed as sensitive and must be declared in advance so we can assess carriage eligibility, required documentation and packaging.
How is the freight cost calculated?
Ocean LCL is charged per CBM, FCL per container type, and air/express per kg. Air and express normally charge whichever is greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L×W×H ÷ 5000 or 6000 depending on the channel), so light bulky cargo may be charged on volume. The quotation always states which basis applies.
Should I insure the shipment?
Carrier liability is normally capped and may not cover the full value. For higher-value cargo we recommend transit insurance and can help arrange it. If loss or damage occurs, keep the packaging, photographs and delivery records so a claim can be filed promptly.
